FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: What do you make?
A: We produce finished garments and kits.
Q: Can I see photos of your work?
A: Past work and research photographs can be found on Pinterest, Facebook, & Instagram

Q: What are some basic things I should know when contacting you?

A: It is helpful to share with us the time period, general impression, military unit, and specific dates within a war that you're portraying when inquiring about services.
Q: Do you need my measurements for a quote?

A: Yes. Please include your height, weight, chest, waist, and inseam when contacting us for a quote.
Q: How does it work if I order a kit?

A: Together, we will determine the supplies you need to order. We will help you source where to purchase your fabric and materials and how much yardage you need. You will then order fabric directly from the supplier and have them ship it to us. We will cut out the pattern pieces and ship them to you.
Q: What is the difference between hand sewn, hand finished, and machine sewn?

A: Hand sewn means no machine stitching.
Hand finished means that any stitches shown on the inside or outside of a garment are hand sewn. Any seams not shown will be done by machine.
Machine sewn means that most of the garment will be stitched by machine.

Q: How does payment work?

A: Payments can be made via PayPal, money orders, or checks. A 50% deposit is due up front. The balance and shipping is due when the garment is complete.
